Here’s a thought. Make a donation in their name.
The charity is worthy of the donation. The person on your list is recognized as the gift helps people or pets or whatever the charity does.
And nothing is given that will either be tossed in the trash or re-gifted to someone else.
Find a worthy organization and make a generous donation.
