Gary tells me there are benefits to growing older (still not sure I believe him), but he may have a point in knowing more about taking pills than me. Here’s some advice (He takes multiple pills a day… so I guess he knows what he’s talking about)
Let’s say you have a headache and take a pain reliever. Your posture has much to do with how fast you get relief. We usually stand at the kitchen or bathroom counter, pop the pill in our mouths and go on about our business. Consider this…
Take the pill, either standing or sitting, then lean to your right. Leaning to your right helps your body dissolve and absorb the medicine faster! If you take the pill the lie down, turn over on your right side. The right lean gets the pill dissolved and absorbed within 10 to 13 minutes. Leaning or laying to the left, over an hour to an hour and a half!
Here’s how it works, our intestinal system attaches to the lower right side of most of our stomachs. So leaning right gets the process going and leaning to the left keeps it away.
Thank God for Gary’s old age and all of his wisdom.
