We all know the dangers of holding a phone and talking while driving… it’s a pretty bad idea. We have laws against it and for good reason!
As it turns out, the problem with talking on the phone while driving does have something to do with the physical act of holding the actual phone, but the danger has at least as much to do with coventrating on your conversation while driving.
People, even those using hands free devices, make as many, if not more, driving errors as clinically drunk drivers! Their risk of collision is four times greater when driving while talking on the phone. It gets a lot worse when you’re having an intense conversation.
