God bless school bus drivers. They drive around a bunch of rowdy, smelly kids to school and back. That has got to be a trying job. BUT THEN you still have to keep the kids safe!
A school bus driver in Milwaukee (who is eight months pregnant) was just doing her job, and driving a bus load of kids. When…. THE BUS CAUGHT ON FIRE!
She said “I just fee like I had to stay calm. Like it was my job to stay calm.”
She got on the radio and tried to call for help, but the fire was building too fast! She says that’s when “My mommy instincts kicked in really fast!” Thanks to those mommy instincts, she was able to get all 30 kids off of the bus safely.
