Next time you go out to your mailbox, you may find a sticker on it. Before you get worked up, no it’s not a political sticker.

The US Postal Service says more than 5 thousand postal carriers were attacked by dogs last year. So now, they’re placing little paw stickers on mailboxes where dogs live.

An orange sticker means there is a dog at this house and a yellow sticker means there is a dog next door.

If for some reason, you take the issued sticker off of your mailbox, you could loose the convenience of someone dropping your mail off at your house. That means you would have to go to the post office to pick it up.
