Governor Ron DeSantis has named this week Amateur Radio Week in Florida. Join the North Florida Amateur radio society this weekend  for the 2022 annual ham radio meetup at Camp Chowenwaw in Green Cove Springs.  Learn more about emergency protocols,  digital amateur radio and new technologies. Plus competitions, remote region expedition communications and free license exams.  Amateur (Ham) Radio is a great way to communicate locally or across the globe, especially in times of disaster and emergencies. Everyone is welcomed. Be at Camp Chowenwaw in Green Cove Springs 2:00 pm on Saturday until 12:00 noon on Sunday and see what ham radio is all about.
