Maybe you’re starting to plan your retirement, or you’re wondering how you’ll ever be able to retire… either way, The Lobster Lady is an inspiration!
Her name is Virginia and she has been lobstering since she was eight years old… now she is 104 years young and is STILL lobstering! She goes out three days a week on her son’s lobster boat (who is 81 years old) and continues to show him the ropes. When asked about it, she said “This is all I’ve ever done. I’m never going to retire. I’m going to do this until the day I die. It’s important to stay active, otherwise I’ll end up in a wheel chair.”
